The St. John's women just continue to roll.
North Babylon graduate Eugeneia hit four three-pointers and scored a career-high 20 points as the No.20 Red Storm topped Seton Hall, 71-52, in the Big East opener for both teams.
McPherson played an important roll for the Red Storm (8-1, 1-0 Big East) last season. But she's being asked to even more this season.
“I consider us to always have six starters," St. John's coach Kim Barnes Arico said. "She’s always been in the mix and the last three games she’s started when Nadirah was coming off the bench. So her confidence is at a high."
Her shooting has improved steadily this season, according to the coach.
"She's a streaky shooter and if she gets hot she can knock down some shots for us," St. John's coach Kim Barnes Arico said.
