A hearty congrats goes out to George Beamon. Remember him? The former Roslyn High School high flyer was named to the All-MAAC third team.

Beamon is third in the MAAC in scoring (16.4), averages 6.1 rebounds and has a team-high 42 steals. The 6-4 sophomore had a career-high 35 points in a win over Siena on February 13.

Beamon joins former All Hallows standout Michael Alvarado, who was named to the MAAC All-Rookie team. Alvarado, who started 22 games this season, averaged 11.2 points and 3.2 assists.

The 10th-seeded Jaspers will face No.7 Siena in a MAAC Tournament first-round game on Friday night.
