Matt Bouldin had 17 points and led three other players who scored in double figures for Gonzaga. Steven Gray had 15 points, while Robert Sacre and Elias Harris had 13 each. Balance was the key for the Zags, who did a great job spreading out the Florida State defense. The Zags hit 21 of 42 shots.
The Seminoles shot just 35.6 percent from the field, including 6-for-20 from three-point range. Gonzaga also held a huge edge on the boards (39-26). The only starter in double figures for Florida State was Solomon Alabi with 14 points.
Florida got close, trailing 65-60 with 31 seconds left, but Bouldin hit two free throws on the next possession for the final margin.
