Stony Brook guard Chris Martin will be out of action for a while after tearing his right meniscus.
The senior is having surgery next week. There's no timetable for his return.
Martin's injury is just the latest in a number of setbacks. Junior forward Tommy Brenton has been out all season with a knee injury. Junior center Dallis Joyner has missed time with a bad ankle, while sophomore Marcus Rouse missed the first few games of the season.
