As if Kentucky freshman guard John Wall needs to do anything else to prove his worth.
Wall set a school record with 16 assists on Tuesday night in third-ranked Kentucky's 104-61 throttling of Hartford. It was also the highest assist total of any Division I player this year.
The previous high was a 14-assist effort earlier this season in a win over UNC Asheville. Seton Hall's Eugene Harvey also had a 14-assist game this season.
DeMarcus Cousins and Darnell Dodson were the main recipients of Wall's generosity, scoring 19 points each.
