MEN'S POLL AND ANALYSIS

The top eight remained the same this week. North Carolina moved up one spot to nine and UConn jumped up a spot to 10th. Michigan State dropped out of the top 10 and is No.11. Florida, Texas A&M, Butler and Gonzaga dropped out of the poll, while UAB (24) and Northwestern (25), yes Northwestern, entered the poll for the first time this season. Wisconsin returned to the poll at 23 and Florida State at 25.

Locally, St. John's received 10 votes, down from 53 last week. They can thank a bad loss to Cornell for that.

Uconn remained atop the poll again thanks to an 80-68 win over Stanford. Notre Dame jumped one spot to No.3, while Tennessee dropped one place to 4th. Locally, St. John's received 24 votes. Georgia jumped to spots to 9th and Texas A&M moved up to 10 from 13. LSU had the biggest tumble, dropping from No.5 to No.11.
