New York-area based fans of TCU and Georgia Tech - we know you’re out there! - are in luck for Thursday night’s NIT Championship Game at Madison Square Garden.

That is, if they do not already have a ticket for the not-so-big event.

Prices on the resale market have fallen to extremely low levels, according to, which monitors a number of secondary market sites.

As of early Wednesday, the lowest asking price was $6, down from $17 for most of last week.

This is the least expensive NIT final of the past four years. At this point in 2016, the lowest-priced ticket was $16, and it was $21 in 2015.

The cheapest ticket for last Sunday’s NCAA East Regional final at the Garden between South Carolina and Florida was $174. That matches the most expensive asking price for the NIT final as of Wednesday morning.
