Notre Dame coach Mike Brey won the Big East coach of the year award, the conference announced at a press conference on Tuesday.
Brey led the No.4 Irish (25-5) to a second-place finish in the Big East.
You didn't have to go far out of the way for the player of the year as Irish guard Ben Hansbrough was named the Big East player of the year.
Hansbrough finished third in the Big East in scoring (18.5) and assists (4.2). He's the second Irish player to win the award in the last three seasons.
Current Cleveland Cavaliers forward Luke Harangody won conference player of the year honors in 2008.
