C. Vivian Stringer’s crew finds itself back on top of the women’s basketball Metro Area Poll. After dispatching Arizona State on Saturday, Rutgers secured its place on top. Hofstra has made national waves with its 4-1 start and is No.2. St. John’s is No.3 after splitting two games at the Junkanoo Jam. The Red Storm took care of Temple in the consolation game. Princeton, with its unblemished record, and Marist round out the top 5.
