Rutgers is the unanimous No.1 in this week’s women’s Metro Poll. Princeton overcame a three-game losing streak with a 77-61 win at Santa Clara and moved up to No.2, overtaking No.3 Hofstra. Hofstra regained its momentum with a 66-52 win at St. Peter’s on Sunday, while Hartford, after a 70-45 thrashing at the hands of St. John’s two weeks ago, has won three straight to earn a No.4 ranking in this week’s poll.

St. John’s is above .500 after wins over Prairie View A&M and Memphis and sits in the fifth spot, while Sacred Heart moved up two places to sixth. Marist dropped two places to fifth, Fairfield moved up one notch to ninth, while LIU enters the poll for the first season at 10th. Seton Hall held steady at seventh and Fordham dropped out of the poll.
