Post had 375 yards of total offense, including 262 rushing. Jeff Mack gained 61 yards on 15 carries. A pair of 2-yard touchdown runs by Thomas Beverly and Rob Bright helped Post (3-4, 2-3) take a 20-6 halftime lead. Millersville (2-7, 1-4) scored its first-half touchdown on a 75-yard run by Ian Sadon, who had 138 yards rushing on the day. Millersville quarterback Connor Casey was 13-for-26 for 106 yards.

Post's defense was led by Anton Rukaj, who had 10 tackles, and Joseph Thompson, who had two sacks. Tommy Williams and D.J. Young had interceptions.

Groundbreaking for new stadium. At the conclusion of the game, LIU Post Provost Paul Forestell and football coach Bryan Collins, along with members of the football, field hockey and men's and women's lacrosse teams participated in a groundbreaking ceremony in anticipation of rebuilding a new stadium that is set to open in the fall of next year.
