Florida State back in AP, USA Today polls

Florida State (8-3), fresh off a big road win over Maryland on Saturday, is back in the AP and USA Today polls.

The Seminoles are No. 22 in the AP poll and No. 21 in the USA Today poll.

Fellow ACC member North Carolina State, which got a big win over North Carolina on Saturday, is also the new team in this week's polls. The Wolfpack (8-3) is No. 21 in the AP poll and No. 23 in the USA Today poll. North Carolina State controls its destiny in the ACC's Atlantic Division. A win over Maryland on Saturday puts the Wolfpack in the ACC title game against Virginia Tech.

The remainder of the polls is pretty much the same as the previous week.

Nebraska, a 9-6 loser at Texas A&M on Saturday night, dropped to No. 16 in the AP poll and No. 15 in the USA Today poll. Nebraska had been No. 9 in both polls.

Wisconsin, a 48-28 winner at Michigan on Saturday, jumped LSU to No. 5 in the AP poll. LSU, which had to rally to beat Mississippi on Saturday, trails the Badgers by two points, Wisconsin and LSU were already 5-6 in the USA Today so nothing changed there.
