Georgetown bumps off No. 2 Villanova

Austin Freeman scored 25 points, Jason Clark had 24, and host No. 7 Georgetown forced 16 first-half turnovers in a 103-90 victory Saturday that ended No. 2 Villanova's 11-game winning streak and ruined the Wildcats' perfect Big East record.

Georgetown (17-5, 7-4) led by as many as 23 points in the first half and 50-31 at halftime. Villanova (20-2, 9-1) cut the margin to 10 but never threatened to complete the comeback.

Kansas 75, Nebraska 64: Cole Aldrich scored six points during a 16-1 run and No. 1 Kansas (22-1) stretched its home winning streak to 55. Marcus Morris had 20 points as the Jayhawks beat the Huskers (13-10) for the 24th time in 25 meetings.

Kentucky 81, LSU 55: DeMarcus Cousins had 17 points and 12 rebounds for his sixth consecutive double-double for visiting No. 4 Kentucky (22-1). LSU (9-14) shot less than 19 percent from the field in the first half and finished at 26.7 percent overall (21 of 66).

Oklahoma 80, Texas 71: Tommy Mason-Griffin scored 24 points, and Cade Davis had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the second double-double of his career for host Oklahoma (13-9). The No. 9 Longhorns (19-4) cut a 19-point, second-half deficit to five, but made just 10 of their 27 foul shots.

Kansas St. 79, Iowa St. 75: Denis Clemente scored 30 points, including six three-pointers, and No. 10 Kansas State (19-4) won its fourth straight road game.

Pittsburgh 83, Seton Hall 58: Gilbert Brown scored 23 points for host No. 22 host Pittsburgh (17-6, 7-4). The Pirates (12-9, 3-7) took their third consecutive loss.

Louisville 76, Rutgers 60: Jerry Smith scored 16 points and Samardo Samuels had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Louisville (15-8, 6-4 Big East). Rutgers (11-12, 2-9) had its two-game win streak snapped. - AP
