The Pride took its second extra-inning lead with two runs in the top of the 12th inning, but in the bottom of the 12th, K'Lee Arredondo tripled home two runs and Lini Koria hit a grand slam to give third-ranked Arizona a 10-6 win.
Arizona (46-11) advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals. Hofstra, which reached an NCAA Regional final for the fourth time in seven years, finished at 45-12, tying the school record for wins in a season.
Michele DePasquale lined an RBI single and Sara Michalowski drew a bases-loaded walk to make it 6-4 in the top of the 12th.
Freshman pitcher Olivia Galati allowed four hits and one run in seven innings of relief before the Arizona comeback in the 12th. She also hit a solo homer in the sixth to tie the score at 3-3. Galati finished at 26-7, tying the school record for wins in a season.
DePasquale doubled home two runs and Michalowski hit a two-run homer in a four-run fifth inning late Saturday night as Hofstra beat No. 14 Oklahoma State, 5-2, to earn the right to face Arizona.
