Annie Payton had 20 points and Anma Onyeuku 17 points and nine rebounds, but Hofstra couldn't hold off visiting Virginia Tech yesterday in a 77-72 overtime loss at Mack Sports Complex.
Hofstra (2-3) led 67-65 late in the second half, but Virginia Tech's Monet Tellier (20 points) hit a jumper as time expired to force overtime.
