Hofstra's Shante Evans had 28 points and 14 rebounds, but host Northeastern used a big second half run to pull away for a 80-62 women's basketball victory over the Pride Wednesday night.

Seedings and pairings for the CAA tournament were announced late Wednesday night. The tournament will be held at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md., next Thursday through Sunday.

Hofstra has clinched a bye and will be the No. 4 seed in the championships. Northeastern is 8-21, 6-12.

Sophomore guard Katelyn Loper had 11 points and three three-pointers for the Pride (19-10, 11-7) to move into a tie for fifth all-time in three-pointers at Hofstra with 138. She is tied with Marguerite Moran (1987-89).

Evans moved into fifth place all-time in scoring. She has 1,573 career points, passing Christine Lathuras (1,548; 1980-84). Cigi McCollin ranks fourth all-time in scoring at Hofstra with 1,662 points.
