The future for the Atlantic 10 begins on Thursday as the league will gather at the Barclays Center for its annual media day.

Three coaches with local ties will be in attendance  –Fordham’s Tom Pecora, former LIU coach and Long Island native Jim Ferry (pictured), who's at Duquesne and Jersey City’s Bobby Hurley (Rhode Island).

They will be joined by Alan Major, Charlotte; Archie Miller, Dayton; Mike Lonergan, GW; John Giannini, La Salle; Derek Kellogg, UMass; Chris Mooney, Richmond; Mark Schmidt, St. Bonaventure; Phil Martelli, Saint Joseph’s; Jim Crews (interim), Saint Louis; Fran Dunphy, Temple; Shaka Smart, VCU; and Chris Mack, Xavier.

The season will start and end in Brooklyn as the A-10's men's basketball tournament will take place at the Barclays Center March 14-17. The A-10 women’s championship game will be at the Barclays Center on March 16.
