Rob Nosworthy (Massapequa) scored on an assist from Sean Maxwell (West Babylon) with 7:04 left in the fourth quarter to give Farmingdale State a two-goal lead in its 11-10 men's lacrosse victory over visiting Hartwick in non-conference Monday. Jimmy Owsinski (Kings Park) scored four goals and Erick Thomson (Floral Park) had two goals and three assists for the Rams (4-1). Patrik Delventhal (Holy Trinity) made 13 saves. Hartwick is 2-2.
Dowling 15, St. Michael's 8: John McClure had seven goals for No. 8 Dowling (3-1) in non-conference. Ryan Dougherty (Comsewogue) and George Diantgikis combined to make nine saves. Charles Seelinger (Massapequa) led St. Michael's (0-2) with two goals and an assist.
