LSU No. 1, 'Bama 4th in AP and coaches polls

LSU stayed No. 1 thanks to a gutty 9-6 overtime win over SEC rival Alabama on Saturday. Oklahoma State moved up to the second spot, while Stanford, Alabama and Boise State complete the top 5. The Broncos were the only other team to receive a first-place vote.

Nebraska took huge tumble after an absolute head-scratcher of a home loss to Northwestern. Houston, one of five FBS teams still undefeated, gained some traction, moving up three places to 14th, while Arizona State and West Virginia dropped out of the poll. Texas and Southern Miss both re-entered the poll this week.
