The college football bowl schedule was released with 35 games over 23 days.
The bowl seasons begins on December 17 with three bowls and ends on January 9 with the BCS national championship game in New Orleans.
Due to a scheduling quirk there will be no games on January 1, because it falls on a Sunday. Barring a lockout, a full schedule of NFL games are set for that day. The Rose, Sugar, Orange and Fiesta Bowl will run January 2 though Jan 5.
