Anselm at Stony Brook 6:00 p.m.: This is it for the Seawolves, the last tune-up game before they get into the meat of their conference schedule. Kyle Essington proved that there still is life at the quarterback position for the Seawolves as threw for 292 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-24 win over Presbyterian last Saturday. The Seawolves were stellar on the ground, gaining 203 yards on 38 carries. Anselm (0-5) has had some real hard luck this year. Stony Brook should have no problems running all over an Anselm defense that has given up 56 or more points three times. Anselm's tough season notwithstanding, it's important that Essington gets all the reps he can before the Seawolves take on Big South heavyweights Liberty and Coastal Carolina. Stony Brook wins this one in a walk. It's Suffolk PAL and Boys and Girls Club night, so anyone going should expect a nice crowd. Stony Brook 48, Anselm 17.
