The new No. 1 team is ........... Oregon!

Oregon moved up to No. 1 in both the AP and USA Today polls that were released on Sunday. It's the first time the Ducks are ranked No, 1.

Ohio State's 31-18 loss at No. 18 Wisconsin allowed Oregon to move up to No. 1.

The top nine teams are the same in both polls: 1. Oregon, 2. Boise State, 3. Oklahoma, 4. TCU, 5. Auburn, 6. LSU, 7. Alabama, 8. Michigan State, 9. Utah.

Ohio State is No. 10 in the USA Today poll and No. 11 in the AP poll. Wisconsin is No. 11 in the USA Today poll and No. 10 in the AP poll.

Oklahoma moved up three spots, jumping TCU.

Michigan State, 7-0 for the first time since 1966, is in the top 10 for the first time this season.

Nebraska, a 20-13 loser to Texas, fell to No. 14 in the AP poll and No. 13 in the USA Today poll. Texas re-enters the top 25 at No. 22 in both polls.

South Carolina's 31-28 upset loss at Kentucky dropped the Gamecocks to No. 19 in the AP poll and No. 20 in the USA Today poll. South Carolina was riding high a week ago after beating then-No. 1 Alabama.

Florida's stunning 10-7 loss at home to Mississippi State knocked the Gators out of both polls. In fact, the Gators did not receive a single vote in either poll this week. Mississippi State is at No. 24 in both polls.
