Tom Dieckhoff's two-run single in the bottom of the 10th gave Sayville a 2-1 win over Harborfields Monday in Suffolk League VI baseball.
Joe Kacinski's double put runners on second and third with one out, setting the table for Dieckhoff.
Ryan Aloise earned the win, striking out 11 and allowing five hits in 10 innings. Harborfields' Ken Adair also pitched 10 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with six strikeouts.
Bellport 8, Comsewogue 5: Evan Honce and Taylor Linker each hit a three-run homer in the top of the fourth to give Bellport (6-3) a 6-0 lead in League V.
Bayport-Blue Point 1, Shoreham-Wading River 0: Zachary Campanelli drove in Steve Longo with a double in the top of the fourth to give BBP (9-0) the game's only run in League VII. Mike Farley struck out eight in a two-hitter.
Seaford 1, Lynbrook 0: Rightfielder Chris Sano threw out the potential trying run at the plate to end the game for Seaford (4-2) in Conference A-VI. In the top of the seventh, John Friscia scored on a two-out infield error to give Seaford the lead. Lucas Hall allowed five hits, walked two and struck out five. Chris Trotta went 3-for-3. East Rockaway 7, Wheatley 6: Danny McClure hit a walk-off two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to lift East Rockaway (4-2) in Nassau Conference BC. David McClure and Sean Bohan each had RBI singles during the four-run seventh for East Rockaway.
St. Anthony's 6, Holy Trinity 5: Lindsey Corriss drove in Gabby Marcheschi in the bottom of the seventh to win it for St. Anthony's (7-2) in CHSAA. Taylor Brown's two-run single tied the score at 5 after St. Anthony's trailed 5-3 after six.
East Meadow 4, Long Beach 0: Kerri Shapiro had 10 strikeouts in a three-hitter and Dina LaRosa went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI to lead East Meadow (4-1) in Nassau Conference AA-IEastport-South Manor 4, Islip 3: Marissa Rizzi's sacrifice fly in the ninth inning drove in her sister Christina to win it for ESM (6-0) in League V. Dana Taglioni's bunt single drove in Kyra Konkel from third to tie the score at 3 for ESM. Westhampton 3, Shoreham-Wading River 2: Tara Boeshore hit a two-run single in the top of the seventh to give Westhampton (2-4) a 3-1 lead in League VI. Boeshore struck out four and allowed six hits in a complete game for the win.
