Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, looking to become the first NFL running back to gain 2,000 yards in back-to-back seasons, has 12 career touchdowns of at least 60 yards, the most in league history. He scored on a 60-yarder in last week’s win over the Steelers.

"I was just being patient and letting the holes open up for me," Peterson said about his latest 60-yard touchdown run. "I was able to press it and cut it back and then take it to the house. I have to give thanks to those guys up front. They were the ones that made it happen, as well as the receivers blocking down the field. It was a big momentum shift for us."

Peterson’s 12 scoring runs of at least 60 yards are three more than Browns Hall of Famer Jim Brown. Titans running back Chris Johnson and Hall of Famer Barry Sanders are next with eight.
