After losing to the Jets back-to-back weeks to end their season, not many would be shocked if Bengals coach Marvin Lewis (pictured) jumped out of an airplane sans parachute (just kidding ... sorta).

But the coach and his cronies were actually considering doing it for fun, as they were set to skydive with the Golden Knights Army parachute team.

Unfortunately for the group, which consisted of Lewis, assistant coaches Kevin Coyle, Jeff Fitzgerald, Darrin Simmons, and former player and current director of player relations Eric Ball, the weather in the Cincinnati area didn't cooperate. (Or did Lewis just get cold feet? Hmm.)

Also in the group was St. Xavier coach Steve Specht, who noted he was "scared to death" in this video provided by the Cincinnati Enquirer.

No makeup date has been set for the divers, but hopefully one will be soon.
