Brady: I don't care what Cromartie says

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wasn't in the mood today to discuss Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie's comments about him before last year's playoff game. Among other things, Cromartie said he didn't care for what he considered Brady's antics during the Patriots' 45-3 win over the Jets last December. Cromartie also uttered a profane word when asked to describe Brady.

Cromartie told Newsday after Sunday night's loss to the Ravens that he stood by those remarks, although he didn't utter the same word.

Brady spoke for only five minutes and ended his news conference ahead of schedule when asked by a New York reporter about Cromartie.

"I don't care what he says about me," Brady said, per Monique Walker of the Boston Globe. Brady was then asked about what he thinks of Cromartie as a player, and he responded, "He's very good, excellent player. They have two very good corners. They have a bunch of good corners actually. Two that are out there in their regular defense are very good. They're both fast . They're both physical. They play well at the line of scrimmage. They're very disruptive. They lead the league in pass defense, so it kind of tells you everything you want to know about them."
