Brandt: Bradford threw more 100 passes, all of them catchable

Gil Brandt has seen it all when it comes to preparing for an NFL draft. The Cowboys' former personnel director, Brandt is now one of the foremost draft experts for

And what Brandt saw in Norman, Oklahoma today at Sam Bradford's workout left even him in awe.

Here's a snippet from Brandt's blog on

"Bradford threw more than 100 passes during the workout and in my estimation, didn't have one that was uncatchable. He moved around well, including throwing on the run out of the pocket, and went through the entire route tree.

"It was really a treat to watch, and I think everyone here was in awe of his performance. In fact, Bradford put on the best quarterback workout by a draft prospect that I've seen since I watched a private workout Troy Aikman put on for us with the Cowboys in California."

And what about Bradford's surgically repaired shoulder?

"If Bradford is feeling the effects of his shoulder or is experiencing any weakness, there were no indications of that today," Brandt wrote. "It didn't show. He threw with velocity during the entire workout."

Translation: Barring a stunning turn of events, your No. 1 pick in next month's draft is Bradford (pictured). Now the only question is whether the Rams — or some other team — wind up taking him in that slot.
