The Eagles reeled off a whopping 53 plays in the first half of last night's game against the Redskins, the most plays in a half since the 1997 Minnesota Vikings. Apparently, that wasn't good enough for rookie head coach Chip Kelly, who has brought his high-octane offense from the University of Oregon to the NFL.

"I felt like it was slow, to be honest with you," Kelly said the day after the Eagles' 33-27 win. "I’m not joking. We got to do a better job. We left the ball on the ground too much. We didn’t get the ball to the officials. We could have sped things up from a processing between plays, and that’s something we need to work on.”
