Vikings quarterback Brett Favre will meet with the NFL's director of security, Milt Ahlerich, on Tuesday in Minneapolis to discuss allegations Favre sent inappropriate messages and photos to former Jets game day host Jenn Sterger when he was the Jets' quarterback in 2008.
Favre has been the subject of an NFL investigation after Deadspin.com reported last week that he pursued Sterger and sent her a series of suggestive voice mail messages as well as an inappropriate photo via text message.
The NFL has so far not interviewed Sterger, who is still deciding whether cooperate in the investigation.
If NFL commissioner Roger Goodell decides Favre has violated the NFL's personal conduct policy, Goodell could decide to suspend the quarterback. Favre is expected to make his 290th consecutive start on Sunday when the Vikings host the Cowboys in a key NFC East game at the Metrodome.
