As much as the Giants are being positive and thinking about winning their game on Sunday night, there is a chance they will lose. In other words, their season could end. And that will mean one thing: the offseason.

Unlike last year, there will be no lockout to force business to wait until the end of summer. So here, with an early jump, is a list of the players who are not signed with the Giants for the 2012 season. Some will be restricted free agents, others unrestricted. Some will be back, others won’t. Eight of them are on season-ending injured reserve, making their medical progress even more important than any production that they gave this season. And this doesn't even include players like Osi Umenyiora and Brandon Jacobs who have one year left on their contract but whose future with the team is certainly tenuous and worth speculating over.

In any case, it’s a rather long list:

Stacy Andrews (IR)

Rocky Bernard

David Carr
Michael Clayton (IR)
Michael Coe (IR)

Jonathan Goff (IR)
