Just thought I'd take this time to drop a few PSAs about upcoming events where you can help people:
First, the Giants, FedEx and New York Cares will host their 13th annual Coat Drive on Sunday, when the Giants host the Washington Redskins at New Meadowlands Stadium. Fans are encouraged to donate their gently worn coats by bringing them to any of the FedEx trucks and volunteers located at each stadium entrance prior to the game. New York Cares is a non-profit organization that helps warm thousands of men, women and children by providing winter coats to homeless shelters, community organizations, centers for battered women, and agencies serving senior citizens across the metropolitan area.
Secondly, Justin Tuck, Terrell Thomas and Michael Boley will lead a toy drive from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6 at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ along with Radio Personalities from WBLS and WLIB. The players will sign autographs in exchange for the donation of a new, unwrapped toy or book ($10+) to benefit the children of Boys & Girls Clubs in Bergen County and Tuck’s R.U.S.H. for Literacy. One autograph per player please and no memorabilia as photos will be provided. The toy drive will be located in the Neiman Marcus Court area.
