The Giants didn't show much of a pulse on the field today, but they still have a faint beat to their playoff hopes. That beat can be summed up in four words:
Hail to the Redskins!
The Giants need the Redskins -- the same team they slapped around less than a week ago on Monday Night Football -- to rise up and beat the Cowboys tonight in order for them to come into work on Monday morning with something to play for. If the Redskins lose to the Cowboys, the Giants will be eliminated for the first time since 2004, Eli Manning's rookie season.
Will they watch the game? Justin Tuck said he won't. "I've seen enough football for today," he said. Instead he'll just go to sleep and wake up in the morning to learn whether or not he and his team still have a chance to make the playoffs.
