Shawn Andrews, who spent Thursday and Friday in the Hospital for Special Surgery tending to the overwhelming soreness in his back, was released from the facility earlier this morning.
While he is still listed as doubtful for Sunday and has not been ruled out, it is all but certain that he will not play against the Jaguars. Will Beatty will most likely be the starting left tackle in his place.
Meanwhile, the Giants made a minor change on their roster. They waived DE Alex Hall and elevated DB Michael Coe from the practice squad. Guess they need cornerback depth just in case Aaron Ross (illness) or Will Blackmon (chest) is unable to go on Sunday.
