The Giants were on their airplane flying home from Seattle while the Cowboys were playing the Packers on Sunday night, so they didn’t get to see the game that most of us watched. But when they landed, they were shocked.
“Wow,” linebacker Michael Boley said of his reaction to the 45-7 result. “Just knowing that they’re such a talented team, when we landed and looked at the score you wouldn’t have thought in a million years it would be that big of a blowout. But after having a chance to look at the stats, the turnovers, you can see why things worked out the way they did.”
Boley also said that the coaching change on the Cowboys is different from what you normally see in the NFL.
“A lot of times when you see a coaching change during the season it’s not just the coach, it’s the players, and they don’t really have the players there to get done what they need to get done,” Boley said. “But they have great players there. They weren’t getting it done.”
