Ahmad Bradshaw hasn’t been getting a lot of blocks in front of him this season. Today Tom Coughlin opened a big gaping hole for him. It’s a matter of if he’s able to get through it.
“He’s better than he was last week, that’s for sure,” Coughlin said of Bradshaw. “He is walking around. If he keeps getting better, we’ll see (if he can play).”
In other words, Bradshaw is not being ruled out with a stress fracture in his foot that he intends to play with for as much as he can in the second half of the season.
At practice today, Bradshaw was nowhere to be found (likely inside keeping his weight off the foot).
The other two offensive starters who missed Sunday’s game, Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) and David Baas (knee), were in various stages of practice. Baas, who is no doubt looking forward to playing against his former team on Sunday, was practicing and appears to be good to go – even if he winds up being listed as limited later today. Nicks, meanwhile, was doing some very light running on an adjacent field.
