We may finally have found something Victor Cruz cannot do.

He catches passes, scores touchdowns, recovers onsides kicks, but at home he’s helpless at one very important aspect of being a new parent.

“I do not do feedings because my breasts do not lactate,” he said.

Stunning, I know. Cruz said that he does stir a little bit when his girlfriend has to wake up in the middle of the night to feed their new daughter, who is barely over a week old. In fact, he called those feedings “meetings,” which is very much a football term and tells you where his head is. He does participate in feedings and burpings and he tries to avoid diaper duty, but his time at this point is very limited and his young family understands that.

“My girlfriend understands that I need to watch film,” he said. “I’m able to come in here early and pay some more attention to football. It’s been a little bit of a transition, but it’s cool.”
