So a Giants player goes on the radio on Tuesday and guarantees a playoff berth. Just another Antrel Wednesday?

Not quite. Rolle will be on the radio this afternoon, but before he had a chance to provide any bluster coming off the Cowboys win, Victor Cruz beat him to the punch. The wide receiver was on “Evan & Phillips in the Morning” on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio this morning and, natch, the possibility of the playoffs came up.

“We will be in the playoffs,” Cruz said when asked what his gut feeling is. And really, if he didn’t, that would be news. But then host Evan Cohen pulled out the G word and asked Cruz: Are you going to guarantee that?

“Uh, yeah,” Cruz said.

Cruz did say that the Giants are pretty much resigned to winning the division. The wild card may already be out of reach.

“I think that’s the only way we’re going to be able to get in, is to win the division, win these last three games and get in there,” Cruz said.
