The Giants have more than their share of injury problems at the wide receiver position, but the Eagles aren't immune to that plague. Wideout DeSean Jackson who turned a short curl into a 91-yard touchdown last weekend against Dallas, did not practice today because of a foot injury.
Neither did linebacker Keenan Clayton (hamstring) and linebacker Stewart Bradley (elbow) has been ruled out. Philadelphia OT Winston Justice (knee) was limited, and starting CB Assante Samuel (knee), who has seven interceptions, took part fully in practice.
The Giants started a late practice about the time the report was issued, but besides the news that WR Steve Smith (knee surgery) has been lost for the season, WR Mario Manningham (hip flexor) was listed as not participating in practice. Offensive linemen Shawn Andrews (back) and Shaun O'Hara (foot) and DE Osi Umenyiora (knee) all were limited. Umenyiora normally is limited on Wednesdays but takes part on Thursday and Friday.
