The forecast for Sunday isn’t looking pretty.

Rain/Snow Showers.

High: 43 degrees.

One might think that outlook favors the Giants, but Atlanta’s Matt Ryan said dome life hasn’t softened his toughness.

The Falcons quarterback is no stranger to dreary and damp conditions having grown up in Philadelphia before attending Boston College, where he played football, basketball and baseball.

“I’ve played in plenty of terrible weather so I’m not too worried about it,” Ryan said on a conference call Wednesday morning with New York media.

Ryan has spent his four-year NFL career inside the Georgia Dome, where the Falcons play half their regular-season games. They went 6-2 at home this year, but finished just 4-4 on the road (including 2-2 in outdoor stadiums).

More startling: Ryan is 26-4 at home in his career … but 17-15 on the road.

Nevertheless, coach Mike Smith isn’t concerned about this Sunday’s forecast on his quarterback’s success.

“Matt’s from that area up in the northeast, so he’s played a lot of games in college outdoors. Even though we play our games indoors I don’t think that’s going to be a concern. Most of our guys are accustomed to playing outside. I’d say we’re a mudder team and we’re an indoor team.”
