How quickly does perspective change in the NFL?

Last week this looked like it would be a very long season for the Giants and they could be buried under the standings by the time they hit their bye in Week 7. Now? They are 2-1 with four very winnable games coming up: at Arizona followed by home games against the Seahawks, Bills and Dolphins.

The combined record of their next four opponents is 5-7. Of course, three of those five wins belong to the Bills and their Harvard quarterback. Take those out and the three opponents are 2-7.

Who would have thought that the biggest obstacle between the Giants and a 6-1 start would be a home game against Buffalo?
