It was just last week that we were mocking those poor unused stationary bikes at Giants practices. Everyone was healthy (well, almost everyone; Hynoski was off to the side). The Giants were feeling great after their bye.

Then they played a game.

Six players did not practice for the Giants today: T Stacy Andrews (back), C David Baas (knee), RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), WR Mario Manningham (illness), WR Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) and DE Osi Umenyiora (knee/shoulder). On top of that, the players who were listed as limited in practice were CB Prince Amukamara (foot), FB Henry Hynoski (neck), and DE Justin Tuck (groin/neck). Michael Boley (knee) practiced fully.

Maybe they were just trying to keep up, but up in Foxborough the Patriots sat their top receiver today as well. Wes Welker, who apparently looked a little sore coming up off the field after his final reception on Sunday, did not practice and was listed with a neck injury. LB Dane Fletcher also sat this one out with a thumb injury.

Limited for the Patriots were S Josh Barrett (thumb), DE Shaun Ellis (rib), RB Kevin Faulk (knee), RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe), TE Aaron Hernandez (knee), LB Jerod Mayo (knee) and T Sebastian Vollmer (back).
