The Giants on Wednesday announced they’ve re-signed veteran long snapper Zak DeOssie.

The two-time Pro Bowler played in 149 consecutive regular-season and postseason games over the past nine seasons before being placed on injured reserve in December with a wrist injury.

A special-teams captain the past five seasons, DeOssie has 71 career regular-season special teams tackles, along with seven in the postseason.

Aside from quarterback Eli Manning, the Giants kicker is the only remaining player from their Super Bowl XLII and XLVI championship teams. DeOssie also is the second-longest tenured Giants player, behind Manning.
