A few surprises in the Giants' inactive list!

We knew Corey Webster and Kareem McKenzie would be out with knee injuries. But now the Giants have Aaron Ross inactive, presumably with that tight hamstring that kept him out of practice on Friday. He had returned on Saturday but apparently isn't feeling well enough to give it a go tonight.

So Kevin Dockery will likely start at cornerback opposite Terrell Thomas with Bruce Johnson coming in in three CB sub packages.

Ramses Barden, Adam Koets and Sinorice Moss are also inactive. Nothing new there. And Guy Whimper is active as a backup o-lineman with Will Beatty starting for McKenzie.

But the Giants also shook up two of their offensive positions in favor of some special teams work. They are sitting D.J. Ware (who did not take an offensive snap last week against the Eagles) and are playing Gartrell Johnson. And they are sitting TE Darcy Johnson and are playing Bear Pascoe.

I can't envision Pascoe playing much on offense, so look for Travis Beckum to get a bunch of the second TE plays.
