Giants still stranded

While some folks pray for a snow day as an excuse to stay home from work, the Giants are hoping for a break in the weather conditions to allow them to come home from Wisconsin, where they remain stranded following Sunday's 45-17 loss in Green Bay.

According to the Giants' public relations staff, head coach Tom Coughlin and his staff are spending the day working on Redskins game film in preparation for Sunday's must-win game in Washington. Players are resting, receiving treatment and "spending a lot of time together" at the Appleton, Wis. hotel where they stayed the night before the game and Sunday night.

The entire team is scheduled to reconvene at 5 p.m. CT for an update on weather conditions and travel plans.
