Goff: Cutler is one of the toughest

Not all NFL players are criticizing Jay Cutler. While many of them took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon, questioning why the Bears’ quarterback was not finishing the game against the Packers – news today is that it was an MCL tear, reportedly a Grade II tear that requires 3-4 weeks to heal – one of his former teammates and a current Giant lauded Cutler’s toughness.

“He was the most-sacked QB in the SEC, never missed a beat, and won the Offensive Player of the Year award,” Giants middle linebacker and former Vanderbilt teammate of Cutler’s Jonathan Goff said in a text message. “He’s a great competitor and one of the toughest.”
