Hynoski only Giant not practicing

Those stationary bikes are starting to get lonely!

For the second day in a row, there were no injured Giants to push the pedals off to the side. That doesn’t mean everyone was practicing, though. Henry Hynoski, who is dealing with the lingering effects of a burner, was the only player on the roster not in pads. But he was running on the side and doing pushups, not riding the bike. It’s a stretch to think that he will play on Sunday, but he could be held out as a precaution as the team worked in full shoulder pads today.

As for the rest of the injured guys, they were all out there. Prince Amukamara, Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, Brandon Jacobs, all padded up and practicing. Ramses Barden was participating as well.

It’s still a little too soon to guess whether the Giants will activate Barden for this game or if they will have Amukamara ready for gameday Sunday. It seems as though they have no physical limitations right now as far as their recovery from injuries. The one thing that could hold them back would be getting them up to speed in the system. Still, I would think the Giants would much rather give Amukamara his first taste of the NFL in a limited role against the Dolphins than throw him into the mix for his debut against the Patriots in a week. With Barden they may be more willing to wait.
