In a live chat earlier today I guaranteed that Tom Coughlin would be asked about the injury status of Aaron Ross and Corey Webster. Well, I nailed that one. I also strongly hinted that Coughlin might not have an answer to give.

Two-for-two.

Coughlin was indeed asked about his assortment of injured players ranging from Brandon Jacobs' teeth to Michael Boley's hand to Hakeem Nicks' hamstring. And the answer was a resounding if not always literal: "We'll see."

And because the team played late last night and now faces a short week of prep for the Panthers -- a week that also includes a certain holiday on Friday --we may not have much information on those players until Thursday when the team actually practices. Tomorrow, Wednesday, they'll have an afternoon jog-through. Most of the work this week will be in meeting rooms and not on the field.
