Jacobs laments SB 'nonsense'

One of the most common complaints about players in the Super Bowl is the long period between when they arrive on the field and when the game actually starts, a function of all the pregame hoopla that comes with the event.

Brandon Jacobs said explaining that process to Super Bowl first-timers is important.

His advice to them: "Keep calm. Don’t blow a gasket, because a lot of guys get excited too early and the game doesn’t start for at least 20 minutes after you’re out there.

"You run out the tunnel and everything and they still have to do all this other stuff instead of getting straight to the game. They still have to do all this, if you ask me, nonsense."
