Brandon Jacobs is feeling better.

At least he's feeling well enough to be on the field practicing today. Yesterday he was sidelined with a you-don't-wanna-know illness, which appears to be of the 24-hour variety judging by the single days of work missed in the last week or so by Kareem McKenzie, Dave Tollefson and now Jacobs.

Osi Umenyiora also returned to the field, although he just sat out yesterday's practice as part of his usual Wednesday ritual of managing his knee and hip injuries.

The rest of the guys who were out yesterday continue to be out. That would be David Diehl, Shaun O'Hara, and Madison Hedgecock. Darius Reynaud was actually on teh field but he did not appear to be participating in any of the drills.
