Justin Tuck doesn’t get to decide which quarterback he’d rather have playing on his team. But if he did, he’d choose the one he has now.

“Eli has been in the league less years and has more Super Bowls,” Tuck said when asked to decide – hypothetically – between Eli and Peyton Manning. “That makes him the quarterback I’m going to go with.”

What he didn’t say, though, is that Eli is “better” than Peyton.

But he did say that winning Super Bowls is a pretty good measuring stick when it comes to quarterbacks.

“If you ask Peyton that question, I guarantee you he’d rather have another Super Bowl,” Tuck said. “Ninety-nine percent sure … Go ask Dan Marino, Jim Kelly if they would take a few less yards and touchdowns for a Super Bowl. I know I would.”
